Join Mr. Johnny, local teacher, musician, storyteller and naturalist for a one-of-a-kind experience at Avalon Nature Preserve. This club is designed to introduce early elementary aged children to the wonders of birdwatching, plant and animal identification, insect observation, and the connections that weave them together. Through hiking, observation, journaling, music, stories and games, the natural world will come to life for these young explorers. Students will learn how to use binoculars, magnifying glasses and journals to enhance and record their experience.
This program is designed for children currently enrolled in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
